My creative inclinations lean toward the use of different mediums—visual art, film and text being the most prominent—because visuals and storytelling are the basis for interactive experience. Additionally, it is difficult for my work to not include the values of equity, feminism and empowerment. I instinctively work within narratives and abstractions to develop work that encompasses joy, humour, camaraderie, character work and physical dexterity. My style is often described as witty, whimsical, and deeply emotive, balancing abstraction with relatable themes that resonate with performers and audiences alike. I am dedicated to listening, observation, nature, improvisation and playfulness as methods of creation. Through collaboration and conversation I find my stride and remain open to learning through changing circumstances.
